Eastern European Symposium Graz – ÖGKJCH

Eastern European Symposium Graz

Unter der Leitung von Univ.-Prof. Dr. Holger Till fand in Graz vom 26.-27. The Department of Paediatric and Adolescent Surgery in Graz has a long-standing tradition to connect with colleagues and friends in Eastern Europe and way beyond. This year, we have invited to an interdisciplinary symposium about Paediatric Nephrology and Urology. Designated internationally recognized experts delivered “Goldstandard Lectures” covering a broad spectrum of knowledge, research and training. We were glad to hear lectures from Prof. Ekkehard Ring, Prof. CK Yeung, Prof. Josef Oswald, Prof. Christoph Mache, Prof. Piotr Czauderna and Prof. Holger Till. Moreover, Prof. CK Yeung from Hong Kong gave the “overseas lecture” and a live operation of his famous pneumovesicoscopic Cohen technique. In between there was plenty of time for academic discussions and lunchtime talks with friends. We were proud to welcome participants from 12 different countries.
