Graz turns visitors into time-travellers. As a World Cultural Heritage site it takes them back through distant centuries of the past in a whirlwind tour of the Renaissance, Gothic and Baroque periods. Graz also captures the moment, the spirit of modern life.
In 2003 Graz was the Cultural Capital of Europe. The nomination brought many positive changes and left unmistakable and spectacular marks in the cultural and architectural face of the city such as the Kunsthaus called the "friendly alien" or the Island in the River Mur.

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009, 10:00a.m.-4:00p.m.- South Styrian Wine Route
Here, beneath poplars and chestnut trees, where the Klapotetz beats time, life revolves around wine. An internationally more and more popular variety of local white wine reach the peak of maturity amidst the gentle hills of southern Styria.
Wine-tasting and a cellar tour of the 300 year-old Episcopal Seggau Castle will help you acquire a taste for it. A hearty snack of assorted homemade Styrian delicacies amidst the vineyards is always considered the highlight of this tour.

Sunday, June 21st to Wed. 24th, 2009- Post Congress Tour (EUPSA and BAPS): Journey into the heart of Austria – mountains, lakes, music and good food!
We leave Graz on Sunday and travel by bus to Hallstatt and the lake of Hallstatt. The village is a world heritage site, it got its name from the early Iron Age Hallstatt Culture and is the site of the world’s first known salt mine of the Celtic culture. After lunch and a guided tour we continue our journey to St. Gilgen at the lake of Wolfgang. A boat will bring us to our Hotel.
Monday morning we will hike along the lake (very easy) to St Gilgen and a guide will explain us the region. A boat will bring us then to St. Wolfgang and we will have lunch at the famous “Weißes Rössl“and then go up the mountain “Schafberg” by a cog railroad.
Tuesday we will visit Bad Ischl, have lunch at the famous Kaffee Zauner and then visit the former summer residence of the last emperor of Austria: Kaiser Franz-Josef.
Wednesday we will travel back by bus to Graz (3hours). On this journey you will experience unspoilt nature, wide views down from the mountain, rest under shadowy trees along the shore of a lake or stroll along green lanes. We advise you to bring comfortable shoes with you.

Prize: 550.00 € per person.
Included: hotel, half board, all fares, entrances and guides. Not included: lunch and beverage.
As the hotel we are staying in is small but beautiful, only 40 people can par-ticipate in the journey. Thus, please book under the motto ”the early bird catches the worm”. The booking deadline is 30th April.
